Secondary School Sportswomen of the Year

Massive congratulations to former student Ellesse Andrews who was named Secondary School Sportswoman of the Year at the Brian Perry Waikato Regional Sports Awards .

Ellesse won gold at the Junior World Track Championships with a world record time in the Women's Individual Pursuit.

She was also part of the team pursuit, winning silver, and is a member of the talent development programme Pathway to Podium.

In 2017, she was recognised at the Waipa Youth Awards, receiving the Sport Award. She was named as the New Zealand Secondary Schools Road Race Champion.
