Congratulations to our Year 13 students, Lisa Mather and Ashley Maylor for their National U19 Netball title as members of the Hamilton City Netball Representative Team.
The Netball New Zealand U19 Championships have provided opportunities for the country’s best to go head-to-head.
Between 15 and 20 Regional Centres compete in this four-day, indoor tournament - an excellent pathway for players providing challenging games every day.
The team had to finish in the top two of their pool to advance to the finals where they beat Wellington to advance to the final against Manawatu, winning 36-31.
Lisa Mather was announced in the National Tournament Team, reflecting her excellent skills, fitness, work ethic and maturity as a player. Congratulations Lisa!
