St Peter's has competed strongly in both the Waikato Junior Swimming Championships and Waikato Full Primary Schools Swimming Championships.
Spencer Cleland, Year 7 Boys Champion, Waikato Full Primary Schools Swimming Championships
In the Waikato Junior Swimming Championships, we had an impressive medal tally:
- Spencer Cleland won one gold, five silver and one bronze
- Jade Morrison won two silver and three bronze
- Caleb Blind won two silver and two bronze
- Jorja Metcalfe won one silver
- Rivi Maling won one bronze.
In the Waikato Full Primary Schools Swimming Championships there were plenty of placings for St Peter’s students in the various events throughout the day, including winning three of the four relays.
In particular, the following students had outstanding results:
- Spencer Cleland won the trophy for overall Year 7 Boys Champion
- Caleb Blind was third place in the overall Year 7 Boys
- Rivi Maling was second overall in the Year 7 Girls.
